We should have one map like this one for every country
This morning I put some order in the pile of magazines I have in my room and dumped a few. One cover with a big close up on a squirrel made me think of my trips overseas and when I was in London. I remember one day in New York City I was wandering and stopped a few minutes in the City Hall Park, before heading to the Brooklyn Bridge. There I found a bunch of squirrels frantically looking for food. I should have brought some with me… They were cute!
The same thing happened 6 years later in Kensington Park, London. This time, I had some mixed nuts and fruits with me so we shared the snack, haha. One day a couple of squirrels started following me, so I gave them more almonds and nuts. One in particular must have been very hungry, because I fed him an almond but he put it in his mouth and kept waiting for more. So I gave him another almond; holding my fingers, he grabbed it and then bit my thumb, like it was another almond or something. Ouch! The little bugger wouldn’t let go of my thumb and I had to literally scroll it away. I’m sorry no one took a photo or filmed the hilarious scene but that was really funny.
You gotta love ‘em nuts
…but where is Wayne?
What you need for your college camping:
- 2 paper cups (abandoned on the water dispenser)
- leftover risotto (we cooked too much for dinner)
- 2 pocket knives (the bigger the better, a machete is fine)
Where:
- the college computer room
When:
- at midnight, when there’s nobody around and the blueish screen lights are a gentle glare
How:
- you sit in front of a computer, put some risotto in your cups and eat with your knives
