Well, I didn’t know there are standard sizes. In the past 10 years I have noticed seats are getting smaller and smaller. Often, it’s not even the seat, it’s the space between seats. I haven’t grown up, my femures have been about the same length in the past 15 years, but now often my knees are splashed on the back of the seat in front of me. And I’m not a huge person, I’m 5’10″.

So much for the On Board Safety of passengers packed as sardines…
