Last time I watched a TV marathon I was around 14 or 15, at a friend’s house. We watched all 3 Star Wars episodes in a row. The ones with Harrison Ford, of course. The ones I think of when someone mentions ‘Star Wars’, although the new ones were not bad either.

Every year the TV schedule promptly shows at least a couple of cartoons, possibly The Sword in the Stone or Robin Hood, which I think I have watched at least a dozen times each. I seem to remember one year they aired the first 3 Indian Jones movies, but this year they aired on Christmas. They sure are Christmas movies, indeed, haha!

Now, I just watched the news on La7 (an Italian TV channel) and right after I saw the trailer of this year’s La7 TV marathon: Sex And The City. All 6 season in one night. Unbelievable. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I like the show and truth to be told, I never really watched it because of the girls. But hey, who would stay home all night watching SATC on New Year’s Eve? It’d make more sense with Disney’s/Pixar/whatever cartoons or even It’s a Wonderful Life, although that is really a Christmas film. Or sagas like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Matrix maybe.

I haven’t watched a New Year’s Eve TV marathon in over 15 years. What would you watch all night long? I say, maybe The Simpsons
